Third Wave Coffee Roasters came as a result of my love for coffee and searching out independent coffee shops and roasters to experience the speciality movement. I came to the realisation that this was not just a pastime of mine, but was becoming an obsession.
The decision to start roasting speciality coffee came after attending courses at the London School of Coffee, allowing me to develop knowledge of the sourcing and roasting processes. My intention is to share this love for coffee with as many people as possible, whilst providing the high quality product that is becoming appreciated as artisan rather than commodity.
I aim to bring you some of the best 100% arabica coffees from around the world so that you can enjoy speciality coffee in your own home. Initially we will be starting with single origins but aim to produce rotating seasonal blends throughout the year.
Through this blog we will dig into the different aspects of the coffee cycle, from sourcing and processing to roasting and brewing (maybe even a bit of chemistry for the geeks like myself).
