Located at the south of the region of Planadas, the association gathers 6000 producers located on the third biggest growing regions in Colombia: El Nevado de Huila, which gathers Huila (Pitalito being a locality), Tolima (Planadas being a locality), and Nariño.

The association is ran by Camilo Enciso and gathers 6,000 families of producers, where 73 are into organic agriculture and produce 800,000 kg of organic coffee. Located at an altitude between 1,600 and 2,000 metres, these producers own around 3,4 hectares each. This coffee is constituted with a blend of old varieties (and non-resistant to rust), Caturra, Bourbon and Typica, which is very uncommon today, with not much Colombias and Castillos. Colombia is one of the only countries to have two harvests per year: Mitaca (Nov/Dec), Principal (April/June).

These coffees are processed with the fully washed technique. All the producers wash the coffee and then make it ferment, between 19 and 25 hours according to the altitude of the mill. (the more the mill is up, the more the fermentation time to break the mucilage will be important).
